CSPV partnership with the Catholic Education Office in Ballarat has been valued since our inception in 2007. Over that time we have met and collaborated with the Directors, Deputy Directors and other key staff to learn more about the needs of families in the Ballarat Diocese.
The partnership has strengthened through our engagement and collaboration with the DOBCEL Family and Community Engagement Committee (FACEC). Each term we meet as a team to explore the development of a strategy to continue to build awareness of parent engagement and family-school partnerships across Ballarat diocesan schools.
CSPV began a unique partnership with Catholic Education Melbourne during it’s early inception and has continued to develop strong relationships with key staff to enable parent voice through many forums and committees that required parent perspective to be included.
Some of the projects CSPV have been involved in to provide parent voice include:
CSPV was recognised as a critical partner with invitations to review the CECV and MACS marketing and strategic plan. These opportunities were also provided for CSPV parents to provide their views on improvement of each organisation that oversees Catholic education across the state and across the Archdiocese of Melbourne.
CSPV meets consistently with key staff of Catholic Education Office of Sale to understand the challenges of families and provide updates on how CSPV is supporting families through advocacy and opportunities to attend webinars, events and contribute parent voice to education reform.
