The choice to provide a Catholic education for our children enables families to have the opportunity to share in the faith values of their school through the day to day experience of belonging to a Catholic learning community.
As the primary carers and first educators of their children, parents have the right to choose the school best suited for them, which will enable them to fulfil the responsibility of providing a quality education for their children.
The provision of Catholic education enables parents to make a choice based upon what will best suit their family – their values, their child’s needs and abilities and their desire to belong to a Catholic learning community and all that it represents.
It is our expectation as the CSPV that Catholic education is able to provide a high standard of holistic education for children, supporting both children and their families during their scholastic journey.
As parents of children in Catholic learning communities, we have a responsibility to instil in our children, the values that a Catholic education provides in forming the identity and social justice values that enable our children to then go out into the world and make a difference in the lives of others who are less fortunate than we are.
