Governance - School Advisory Councils Update

CSPV recently held a parent forum to provide parents with the opportunity to put forward their feedback on the MACS School Advisory Council Manual. As the very people who will be using the manual, it was important that we heard from parents who currently sit on School Advisory Councils.

We were thrilled to have many parents register for this forum and the session went extremely well. Our Chair Jodie was then able to take the feedback to the MACS Governance Steering Committee to ensure parent perspective is included in the continued development of the manual.

This is one of the opportunities parents have when engaging with CSPV. If you’re unsure how you can have a say or provide your perspective in education, keep your eye out for other opportunities we provide throughout each year.

Each diocese across Victoria has various resources for School Advisory Councils. It’s important you are aware of the resources if you are a parent currently sitting on a SAC or if you are thinking about joining.
